Volunteer

Interested in volunteering at the library?  We are looking for creative people who are librarians at heart.  We need people that would like to serve the community and meet some pretty cool people along the way.  We are looking for help in the following catagories:

  • Story Time and Kids Club
  • Planning exhibits in the library
  • Fundraising
  • Preparing new books for check-out
  • Shelving items
  • Writing for Newsletter, blog, or facebook
  • Book repair
  • Publicity

Friends of the Library

Our Friends group is in charge of book sales and fund raising. To become a Friend, call the library at 406.826.3101 or email our director Nikki Ericksen.

Poster for friends of the library. Join us! Fundraise, advocate, outreach, promote the library. Meetings are the first Tuesday of the month each quarter at Plains Library.
